Die Hitze dr\u00fcckt und auf der Haut klebt das Salz. Ich halte eine kleine Mittagspause im Schatten der H\u00fctte und tr\u00e4ume von Palmen. Sie w\u00fcrden nun die Atmosph\u00e4re der Pazifik-Insel auf Trischen vervollst\u00e4ndigen.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>So verabschiedet sich der Juli und ebenso beginnt der August, zum Gl\u00fcck nicht ganz so hei\u00df, denn bis 33 \u00b0C konnte ich in der letzten Woche auf dem Thermometer ablesen. W\u00e4hrend sich auf dem Festland die Bauern um ihre Ernte sorgen, fehlt der Regen auch auf Trischen im Prinzip seit nunmehr Monaten. Ich bin wirklich \u00fcberrascht, mit wie wenig Wasser ich auskomme. Bei der Hitze f\u00e4llt ohnehin nur wenig Kleidung an, die gewaschen werden muss. Sie stehen unter sogenanntem Trockenstress und einige werden vertrocknen, ehe ihre Fr\u00fcchte und Samen reifen k\u00f6nnen. Da es auch l\u00e4nger keine besonders hohen Hochwasser gab, verf\u00e4rbt sich an einigen (besonders an den sandigen) Standorten in der Salzwiese der Queller (<em>Salicornia sp.<\/em>) bereits jetzt\u00a0in ein leuchtendes Rot; Kommt dann doch einmal das Hochwasser dort an, nutzen es Gr\u00fcnalgen und bilden einen dichten Rasen.
