Dort l\u00e4uft nun die Balz- und Paarungsaktivit\u00e4t auf Hochtouren. Sogar die ersten Eier liegen schon in den Nestern.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Die Paare treffen sich h\u00e4ufig \u00fcber mehrere Jahre am selben Platz in der Kolonie wieder, nachdem sie den Winter in der Regel getrennt verbrachten. Zu Beginn besetzt das M\u00e4nnchen bereits ein kleines Territorium, das gegen Artgenossen verteidigt wird. Auch das Weibchen kann sich deshalb dem M\u00e4nnchen zun\u00e4chst nur in einer geduckten und unterw\u00fcrfigen Haltung n\u00e4hern, bis sich die zwei wieder aneinander gew\u00f6hnt haben. Wenn sie beide gemeinsam mit den K\u00f6pfen wippen, ist es so weit und sie schreiten zur Paarung.
