Da lohnt sich das sogenannte &#8222;Seawatching&#8220;, denn die Chance Hochseeev\u00f6gel am Horizont zu erblicken, nimmt bei starkem Westwind zu.\u00a0Dass dieser Basst\u00f6lpel (<em>Morus bassanus<\/em>) dann direkt \u00fcber die Insel fliegt, war pures Gl\u00fcck.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Basst\u00f6lpel sind in der Deutschen Nordsee absolut keine Seltenheit mehr. 1991 br\u00fctete das erste Paar auf der Insel Helgoland. Mittlerweile umfasst die Helgol\u00e4nder Basst\u00f6lpel-Kolonie mehr als 1000 Brutpaare. Nur manchmal sind sie auf ihren Streifz\u00fcgen auch von den anderen Inseln und zum Teil sogar vom Festland aus zu beobachten. Auf Trischen gab es in den letzten Jahren leider mehr <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.nabu.de\/trischen\/toter-basstoelpel\/\">Todfunde<\/a> als lebendige V\u00f6gel.
